WHERE WE ARE
We are located in southwest Alaska near the community of Pilot Point on the Ugashik Bay. Ugashik Bay and the connecting Ugashik River is one of the six major rivers that make up the Bristol Bay watershed. The pristine Bristol Bay waters have had an abundant salmon run for thousands of years, and a sustainable commercial fishery for over 130 years. The Bristol Bay fishery is the largest wild sockeye salmon run, producing almost half of the sockeye salmon in the world, with about 40 million salmon returning each year. Due to the daily, and sometimes hourly, science backed management by the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, these salmon runs can support local fishing operations like ours and return for generations to come.
